העבודה היא בתנאי פנימייה מלאים בכפר הנוער שלנו ליד זכרון יעקב, ההדרכה היא בשפה האנגלית.

אנו מגייסים מדריכות ומדריכים בתחומי אנימציה, תלת מימד, עיצווב גרפי, מוזיקה, וידאו ומדיה, תיכנות, בניית אתרים, רובוטיקה והנדסה, גיימינג ואפליקציות.

כמו כן, תפקידי הדרכה וריכוז חברתי, מדריכי/ות גלישת גלים ומדריכי/ות תאטרון.

If you have…

Looking for a summer job in Israel? 

  • Skills and experience with one or more of the technology topics and software listed on our workshop page.

  • Studied or graduated with a major in a technological field, or serviced in a IDF technology unit (for Israelis)

  • Experience in working at summer camps or with large groups of children.

  • A desire for teaching, leading and making a change.

  • Lots of energy, a good sense of humor, strong communication skills and open-mindedness in working with kids.

  • Enthusiasm to work with great people from all over the world in a fun and young environment.

     

Working at BIG IDEA

  • Must be over 18 years old.

  • Working overnight, full summer from June 30 to August 17, 2014.

  • Full room and board provided during the duration of employment.

  • International staff - we cover your plane ticket and would be happy to help with your travel arrangements.

  • Compensation is based position of responsibility. We pay our staff toward the high end for summer camp jobs because we believe you deserve it.

     

     

Available positions

Workshop & Group counselor

You will lead workshops in your field of interest and also supervise and lead your camper-group in the fun camp activities.

Workshop opportunities include:

 

Media and Digital Arts

  • Graphic Design, Animation, Digital Comics

  • Photography, Filmmaking, Music Video Production.

  • Digital Music- Cubase and Ableton Live 8.

  • 3D Modeling, Special FX Editing

Computers & Gaming

  • Game design using Game Maker/Kodu/UDK & Game Modding on Minecarft.

  • Web design using HTML, Photoshop, JavaScript, CSS or PHP

  • Web applications using Ruby on Rails

  • Visual C# or Java Programming

  • Facebook & Mobile Apps

  • Cyber and Hacking

Robotics & Building

  • Robotics using the BoeBot Kit , Lego Robotics or VEX

  • Building a PC, Arduino

Special Tracks

  • Hi-Tech Entrepreneurship

  • Science

  • 3D Jewelry Design

  • Digital Fashion Design

Surf & Theatre

  • Wave Surfing

  • Theatre and Stage Arts

​Unplugged & Group counselor

You will lead all campers in social & sports activities and also supervise and lead your camper-group in the fun camp activities.

 

​Unit Head

You will be responsible for campers and staff of a specific age group and creating the educational activities for the unit. Must have previous experience in leading educational programs. must be over 24, fluent in Hebrew and English. Must be available to work overnight from June 27, 2014.

​Support, Video, Logistics and I.T. staff

Available positions:

  • Camp Medic - must be a certified Medic in Israel

  • Documentary crew - Photography and Video

  • Special Ed. staff - previous experience with Asperger needed.

  • Logistic assistance

  • Tech assistance
